'Spider-Man' Breakdance

A video that I took in America! On the streets of LA. I was quite 'wowed!' by it... The streets are entertaining... Enjoy.

Updates!

I can finally update my blog. Finally... My computer has been giving me so much troubles. I cannot use msn or windows messenger on my com, thus I got to resort to the pathetic WEB messenger. I hear weird conversations and songs from my computer that I do not know where they come from. My computer is super slow, ads keep poping up... etc. Its just... full of problems. I am now using my Dad's computer. Perhaps, its time to invest in a new computer. Is DIY good or 'Ready Made' better?

Group Pic 1. At Diya's place... Thanks Diya for doing the cooking! The food was good! And thanks to everyone for the company... It was great laughing with all of you!

Group Pic 2. At Roanna's 21st Birthday. The theme is ... FLOWER POWER!

The pic that sparked off lots of controversy... All I can say that we were very into the 'theme'... FLOWER POWER. Come on man, be more sporting!

Our range of Mr and Miss tees. Here is a Mr Bump and a REAL Miss Bum.

Mr Happy! and Miss Happy wannabe. Ha!

Farewell to 'Da Jie' Frances...

Finally, my thoughts... Frances is going to leave. Yea, she is really going to leave. Going all the way to Hong Kong to work. I am really happy for her because it will be a totally difference experience, and I believe, I good experience. Travelling is good. But... I will miss her. She is so dear... Indeed, she is our Da Jie. She is full of spontaneity. A very people person... a very undertstanding person. A great pianist that literally ROCKS! hahah... We will miss your scales and 'rocking'. Also, she is full of joy and laughter! You have indeed been such a blessing to all of us! Thanks Fran. It is just great to have you around, and even though we won't be seeing you so often, we will ALWAYS remember you. We will have our web-cam sessions... and, you better eat the same food as us when we web-cam... hahaha... you better learn good cantonese and bring us around Hong Kong. We will be there! Right? 'indecisives'... All the best Frannie...

Lots of gatherings lately... Busy in some way and yet, I haven't been a good steward of my time. :( Lord, please grant me the wisdom to manage my time better.

A song dedicated to Joel's blog! Craziness!

Craziness!

Am I crazy? Perhaps I am... Wahahaha. Whatever the case, the past 2 nights have been CRAZY! Its been a long time since we really almost ALL gathered together. 'Indecisives'... I really hope the spirit between us remains FOREVER. Thanks for all the craziness! Of course, it was GREAT having more people among us. Finally saw Zijie aka 'Z-G' again and got to know carrie better. :) I want the pics! Attention to all pic holders!! You are TASKED to send all photos to me! ALL...

do you exercise?

Nothing much to update these 2 days. All I have 'accomplished' is played badminton and ran 2.4km, 6 rounds around the track on Monday. And, swam 40laps at the swimming pool under my block. (The pool is smaller, so, it isn't that difficult to achieve 40laps, it just sounds quite impressive. Ha!)

I am glad that I have the time to exericse. I haven't been exercising since my trip to America. People don't exercise when they travel. :( If people have been reading my blog, I did say I MISS exercising. Yeaps, I love to exercise! I think life is not complete without exercise.

Benefits of Exercising: -You'll look better and feel better (improves blood circulation, tones up your body, builds up your stamina... etc)
-Relieves stress (those who are stress, go exercise! its a channel to release your stress)
-Balances your emotions (you'll feel happy after a workout. at least I do)
-Makes one disciplined and focused

I believe there are more benefits. Exercising is good for us mentally, physically and emotionally. Great! Start exercising today!

With all that said, I think its time to manage my 'spritual part' as well. I haven't been doing my masterlife. AGAIN. I'm guilty. :( time to buck up! those who haven't been doing, do it NOW! NOW! NOW!

long time frens...

Met up with Alvin Chan last Saturday. It has been really long since I last met up with him. Bumped into him on the streets a few times though. He looks... the same! But still, we look different. How could our form teacher mistake the both of us? Anyway, it was great to meet him up. Everything is like the same, in fact, even better. I still feel damn close to him... like an old pal. :) For some people, no matter how long you don't keep in touch with the person, the person is still close to us. But for some others, no matter how hard you try, its really difficult. Ha... and both of us agreed to that! Its just great to know that I am still close to him (and I had him admit it as well). Haha! Few are left as my friends from secondary school, but, I am really glad with the people I am left with. They are my pals and old time friends... People like, Sun Quan, Guo Rong, Samuel, Alvin, Ryan. Thing is... I love ALL my FRIENDS! I believe in Friends 4 Life, so, hope it does stay that way.

Best Friends... Sun Quan aka 'Clive' and I

ChanMaliChan and I... Photos bring back memories!

Supper at Hong Kong Cafe... Our usual hang-out.
Justin (Fran's Friend), Frances (We will miss you!), Jonnie Wongie, Me!, Isaac, Diya and Carrie.
It was taken with my cam and they didn't want to give a nice face... :( except for me.

Songs that touch our hearts...

Tears welled up in my eyes. It wasn’t sadness that caused the tears.
A great song and my thoughts intrigued it. I was in the car, listening to a song at a reasonable loud volume; the blasting of the acoustics sounded great, and, the meaning of the song deeply touched my heart. I love the song! Great song written, sung and arranged.

Thus, LeBby is going to embark on a project. Hopefully, the project would come to pass. We shall see… Stay tuned!

the LITTLE things that brighten up your day!

Everyone has their ups and downs. I have to admit that LeBbY hasn't been all well. Life can be better. I am not on the verge of dying though. No worries.

Today however, something did brighten up my day. Perhaps it is something small, but it does matter to me. I was appreciated... What happened was this. I was supposed to give up one of my keyboard classes because of some re-adjustments in the time-table. How sad. I do not know if being attached to my class is good or bad, but, I am. I think all my students are awesome and I would really want to continue with them this learning journey. I broke the news to them that I only have 2 more weeks with them and I'll have to hand them over to Sophia (another instructor who is superb!). At first they agreed... then they asked me, "cannot shift to another day?" and I thought... why not right? and it so happens that I have a free slot that fits perfectly for them on thurs. Great! Thank God! and everything was settled.

Yeah, I know its just something so small... but it did make my day. Sometimes its good to know that we are appreciated. Small gestures, small remarks do make a difference. And now that I know, I feel like doing more for my students. :) I do hope that my lessons would be interesting and they would learn lots! Thank God for everything!

21st Birthdays...

Yeah, attended yet another 21st birthday... It was Mr-Ching (neh-neh)'s 21st Birthday. Or rather, 'surprise' birthday party. Hope it was a great celebration and surprise for him. He is definitely blessed with a nice gf, ah rong, who came up with all the plans and preparations. But also, you must have good friends like evofus to have good help and decorations... Ha.

So many 21st birthdays this year... Attended 21st birthdays for Jiarong, Jasmine, Sharon, Shuling, Kelvin and upcoming, Roanna... Missed 21st birthdays by SunQuan (sorry bro), Xingyu, Clarice. Sorry to all if I couldn't be there, would really wish to be there. :( Now the question lies in whether Lebby would have a celebration. Emm, I guess not though. Maybe I should have a quiet birthday like Isaac and Joel. Ha... Nice to have a celebration I guess but also, there are factors holding me back. Shall see. Maybe just a simple meal with friends. But since its 21st, nice and good presents are welcomed!

Here I want to congratulate Zijie on moving on the top 16 of campus! Woohoo! You're good. Your stage presence has improved! You even know how to wink your eye already huh. Jia you, jia you! Wo Kan Hao Ni...

Pics Time!

Birthday boy, Mr-Ching! with beloved gf, Ah Rong... They have been together for 5 yrs! The both of you better treat each other well... I'm not going to be bias here.

Our present for him! It suited him so well man! Orange Crocs with designs...
Jasmine was saying that we can't buy slippers or shoes for people. Then I was telling her that its ok, cause these are slippers, can only walk. So if Kelvin is going to walk away from our lives, we'll be able to wear shoes and chase after him... We can run with shoes!

Evofus with the birthday boy. Btw, evofus consists of the 3 people on the left side plus the 2 other people on the right. The birthday boy is not part of the 'original' evofus. But, he is already part of us! Part of the external evofus which includes our other half. Wan Ping, we got to buck up man...

Shoes of the day! Mr Happy... My shoes! From america... Great buy. I'm loving it! Stay happy!

Things taken for Granted.

There are so many things in life we take for granted. Perhaps we don't even know we take it for granted, but we do. Even simple things, everyday happenings that come naturally. Our movements, the air we breathe, the food we eat, the people around us... etc etc. I just want to thank all the people who are a part of my life... thanks lots to my family and friends out there... people who stood by me, who cherished and still cherish me. If people know me well, I think they should know I'm a person who cherishes all my friends very much. :) a thought I have been having of late... What actually puts people together... ? That they go from strangers to hi-bye friends to friends to close friends, and, who can actually be your close friend and who cannot? Its like, there are people out there that in an instance, its so easy for you to be attached to the person, while to others, no matter what, it just doesn't happen. So what is it that happens between people? CHEMISTRY?

Whatever the case, our family will always remain our family, that is something that we can't choose, we can't change... And many a times, we take our family for granted. Cause, no matter what, they are still there, they have to be there cause they are our family. BUT, that should not be a reason why they should be taken for granted. I think families should take time to know each other better, to spend more time. Yet, it takes 2 hands to clap. Even if I want to, the other party has to be willing as well. Haiz. Sometimes I talk to my family, I feel that I get lukewarm response... and that, definitely will not keep me going to want to foster a better relationship. Sianz. Perhaps I have to be more thick-skinned to get something going.

Friends & Family, which are you closer to?

I love my Life!

Thurs, 7th of June 2007... Had high-tea at Royal Plaza @ Scotts today! Woot... Kinda like my life now... Its so free and fun! Since my return from the states, I have just been feeling HIGH... Perhaps I've got a different perspective. I did invigilation from monday to wednesday, so as to recoup my finances from the trip. Big thanks to Xuan who introduced me the job :) and I've resumed my duties @ JR Tuition Centre and Echo Music... It was nice seeing my 'colleagues' and students again. I love my job anyway, so, its fun! Also, I have been waking up early and observing good sleeping habits. No more late nights and insomia... I hate that! Everything seems to good... Ooosh...

High-tea today was fun... Although, the food was disappointing. :( The company made it fun though. Was with Xuanie and Wong Wan Pig, feels like a long time since we went out together in the day. Hope we would be able to do so with the full EVOFUS! Where's Jasmine n Ah Rong?? I think I love eating ... And yes, I really do. Give me some good food and I would light up! Also, I love high-teas. My mum used to bring me to the PineTree Club with my aunties to have high-tea. Feels high-class and relaxing... Haha... Just sit there and chill. Ok, time for pics.

Japanese Food and Bite-size Sandwiches.

Truely Singapore... Rojak and Laksa. The Laksa was the best thing at the high-tea.

Cakes Galore!
Sign of Goodness!
Variety of Cakes and Tarts.
Nice Chocolate Fountain... Yum...
This is what Xuan does after she burps... She blows at your face! Finally caught her in the act! I think its a great candid shot. But so what? I'll still be her victim... and many others :(
Beloved Xuan...
High-tea buddies. Lets pig it out again!

2days back in homeland...

I know I haven't been away for long. 1 month definitely isn't a long time. Especially when these days I feel that time is slipping by so quickly. However, I do feel a difference as I am back in Singapore. Also, my perspective has changed a little. How has it changed? Well, I feel that after travelling for some time and to so many places, I've come to realise that Singapore is really small and somewhat insignificant. It seems to be, though I know it isn't. In addition, I think that Singaporeans are too sheltered and emphatatic. I have to admit that I am one of them. Sad. Perhaps I should really start getting to know the world better and not just live in my own world and be selfish. Back in America, there are many homeless people around, people begging for money. An uncommon sight in Singapore. My thought was how did they reach such a stage? I do not have an answer but my guess is that they made wrong decisions in life that led them to such a stage. Another sight I saw was many buskers who perform on the streets for a living. And, they are good musicians, some of them. :) I think its cool that people do what they like for a living. I could also see that the Americans were supportive of the buskers. Shall post some of the videos when I can. A thought I had was... Perhaps I should busk and travel the world. Ha... Take an alternative route. But I know I'll never. All these have led me to think out of the box and not just be so caught up with my life. There are just so many things out there in the world. For example, the wonderful creation of God. I should continue travelling the world. :)

Besides a change in perspective, seems like Singapore has changed physically in a month. Around my estate, they re-painted the roads. I went to AMK Hub on Sunday, a place I didn't know existed. There were barriers beside the roads at Bishan MRT. It just goes to show that many things can happen in a month. I should catch time while I still can.

Alright, enough said, time for pics ...

A pic which looked like a spotlight from above... Reminds me of the glory of God.

The infamous 'Krispy Kremes'... The process of making sugar coated donuts

And now, they are coated... The original donut is nice... The rest are ... Sweet! too sweet...

This is the great view I saw on the plane. The sight I mentioned a few entries back as 'flour'.
Looks really good. Its said to be Alaska. Woah!

Another view, another angle, another perspective. With the wing of the plane.
Back in Singapore. Changi Airport. With my bro on the left and Xiao-Ping.
With my great bunch of friends! Apparently they were trying to hide but was easily spotted... Try harder! Ha... Nevertheless, it was great seeing them. In pic: Joel, Diya, Franes, Yilin, Jon and myself.
Final pic for the day. A nice sunset view from the plane. Taken at Japan, Airport of Narita.
I hope to post more pics when I can and that would be a few days later when I have access to the pics taken in America. The pics are not with me... :( Till then, take care and tata!
thought of the day: 'what the world needs now is love'
God Bless!

Back to "Reality"

Its time to go back... Back to Singapore, back to my home, back to my comfort zone... Or maybe, not my comfort zone. It was a good trip and was great looking around the world... Changes your perspective in some sense. I'm looking forward to being back in Singapore. I miss...

-Food! Laksa! I so wanna eat that. Authentic Singapore food!

-People. All my friends and my family of which my parents and younger bro are going to China.

-Playing the piano. I wanna touch those keys again.

-My students. I do love teaching and educating. Thank God for the opportunity

-Watching Tv! I miss my TVB serials. Ha...

-Exercising! I really do like exercising. Feeling the adrenaline rush. Got to go swimming, jogging, gyming, rollar-blading and cycling... Must accomplish all these when I'm back. :)

-And many many more. I even miss City Hall. Ha... My favourite hang-out

But before I reach home, I'll have to endure a gruelling 25hrs flight. Looking forward to food on board to sustain me. See ya all in Singapore! Tata!
